Lucy's visit 2 (Mini Adventure)

Lucy visited us again :) She played with me and Zero.  We all had lots of fun!

Zero learning how to make loom bands, it was very confusing!

Lucy taught Zero how to meditate "Ommmmmmmm"

Zero did some dancing for Lucy :)

Then he did the splits!

Zero breakdancing on his head!

Zero asked Lucy to marry him and she said YES!

Lucy drew a picture of Zero, here is Zero with the picture that Lucy drew of him.

Then we played dress up! We love playing dress up :) Zero dressed up as a leprechaun and I dressed up as Darth Vader

Then we dressed up in winter clothes.  Zero's hat is funny! I think my hat and scarf is nicer.

Tomato Plants

Mama bunny gave me some big tomato plants to grow! She's been helping me grow them. Today was the first day that I could eat them  :)  I couldn't wait to take it off the tomato plant to eat it.

Bunny picked a tiny one that was ready to eat and put it on my nose! I look like a clown with a red nose.

Choc Bunny Day! (Navan Fort)

This morning I woke up early, because I was excited about this morning's adventure. Bunny said it was too early to go so we snuggled up in bed and watched Hop :)  Then we got ready to go on our adventure, when we returned The Easter Bunny had visited and he had left me presents :)

First the adventure :) We went to the Navan Fort to roll the Dragon Eggs down the hill, but I stopped along the way to get photos taken.

Yee-ha!
A BUNNY RABBIT!!
This was VERY tall
Selfie!
When we got up the top of the Navan Fort, I took this photograph. It overlooks Armagh City, which you can see in the background. Isn't it pretty how the two trees frame the photograph? :)

Bunny put my travelling bag onto the grass for me to sit on.  It was still wet with dew and I didn't want to get my clothes damp. Here is a photograph of me with my dragon eggs.

I rolled them down the hill and then... nothing! We couldn't see them, they are lost in the grass. Bunny said that a bird or an animal will find them and eat them.  A lady in the Navan Centre said a child will find them and think that the Easter Bunny put them there.  Someone else said that a grown-up will stand on them when walking.  If you find them, let me know in the comments below and don't forget to take a picture!

On the way back, I heard a noise and looked in the bag that I had the dragon eggs in. I had left it on the ground, inside it was this!
Bunny! The Easter Bunny left me an egg in my bag!
Another selfie

When we got back to the burrow the Easter Bunny had visited! These were waiting for me.

I ate the head of the choc bunny first.
Jelly Beans!!
The Jelly Beans made me laugh, because we had watched Hop earlier. If you've seen Hop you'll understand why.

I had a lovely adventure, even though I couldn't find the Dragon eggs :(

We're going back to the Navan Fort on Tuesday! :) To see their Easter Panto

I want to go dressed as a Billy Goat! Bunny laughed and said she'll see what she can do.  We're also going back on Wednesday to see the arrival of Brian BorĂº to Armagh.  I'll be dressing up as a Viking!

Distance Travelled today (from Armagh): 5 miles

DRAGON EGGS!!

Today, Bunny is off work and we made DRAGON EGGS! Okay, so they're not really dragon eggs. They are ordinary eggs that we dyed because we are going to the Navan Fort on Sunday to roll them down the hill. Bunny said if I'm good, I can roll down the hill as well! :) That will be fun. I think they look like dragon eggs, what do you think? Below are photos of the process and a butterfly on my nose! More of that later.

Bunny let me sit on the cooker while the eggs started to boil, then she told me to step back.  She said that the pan was very hot and she didn't want me to hurt myself. So I sat on the "Granny Chair" and waited. No-one knows why it is called that.  When I was waiting Anya Cat jumped up and lay down beside me :)

I stroked her and we had a chat while waiting for the eggs to boil :) She gave me a kitty kiss! On my nose, it was so funny, then she kissed me a couple of more times. She's SO soft :)

They took FOREVER to cool. Bunny was laughing because I was blowing on the eggs, trying to get them to cool down faster. So I sat on her lap when she was on the computer and waited. Then she dyed them for me :) I told her what to do. Next photo is of the eggs dyed and drying.

They look like Dragon Eggs! :) I put my ear to one to see if I could hear anything inside them, Bunny laughed at me and called me a silly Lion!

The dyed eggs :) DRAGON EGGS!! They are dragon eggs!! :)

I decorated a bag to hold my dragon eggs in and here's me sitting on the bean bag by the front door ready to leave.  Hilla put a sticker on my nose! She said I looked cute.

The Dragon eggs are safe in Bunny's room and we're going to visit the Navan Fort on Sunday to roll them down the hill! I'm going to roll down after them :)

Pancake Day!

Today is Pancake Tuesday :) Hilla made pancakes, I watched her but wasn't allowed to help. Hilla said I would get pancake batter all over myself and I would have to go into the washing machine. I ran up to Bunny's room screaming that I didn't want to go into the washing machine.  When Hilla had some made she came up to the room with some for me :)

Here is a photograph of me eating a pancake that Hilla made. She put butter and sugar on them, they were very very yummy! I LOVE pancakes. I hope Hilla makes some more soon.

Do you like pancakes? What do you like to have on them, do you like butter and sugar like me?

Planet Aliens!

I had a mini adventure today! Bunny came up to the room and told me that Anya cat was in the living room. I jumped out of bed and ran down the hall and into the living room. Bunny helped me up onto the sofa and I sat on my spot and stroked Anya cat.

Then I lay down beside her, I don't think she was too happy. Though she was purring, Bunny said that was a sign that she liked me.

Then I talked to Anya cat, I think at this point she just wanted to be left alone to sleep. So I left her and got ready for my adventure.

Then it was time to go on our adventure! I climbed into my travelling bag and Bunny helped me out of it when we reached the Planetarium.  We arrived there around midday, we were told that the tickets for Planet Aliens, for the first showing were all taken but we could get some for the 1:15 showing so we got our tickets then we had a look around the Planetarium.  I went back into the room where they had the 3D wall and put on 3D glasses so I could see the wall.

Then I wanted to see the big meteorite again, Bunny said I had to put the 3D glasses back in the box before we left the room. After I put them back we walked up the stairs to the see the meteorite. I love looking at it, it is very heavy but it fell from space which is very cool.

Bunny was thirsty so we walked back downstairs to the cafe, she got a coffee.  I'm not allowed coffee, but I got a chocolate bar! It was called a Milky Way and it was yummy :) Here is a photo of me eating my chocolate bar.

We still had time so I went back into the room where the 3D wall was and they had some books on a table. I stood on one of the stools and read a book while we waited :) It was a lovely book about a dragon who visited a family and had tea with them.

We STILL had time before the Planet Aliens show, Bunny decided to get us tickets for one of the shows on in the digital theatre so we got tickets to see a show called Beyond the Blue which was on after the Planet Aliens. The nice man behind the desk said that I would enjoy it. Then on the way back I posed for this photograph.

A lady who worked in the Planetarium walked by us while we were waiting and said that we were patiently waiting. I told her I wanted to go and see it NOW! She laughed and said I had to wait, Bunny told it would be worth the wait.

Lots of people stopped and talked to us, it was fun! They asked was I a mascot from a school and I said no, that I was Bunny's friend and I went on adventures.  Then it was finally time to go see the show Planet Aliens. It was SO much fun! I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but I learnt the colours of the rainbow! Oh, and we had to hold paws, the lady who was sitting next to me held my paw and Bunny held onto my other paw. I also learnt some of the stars in the sky, but they had big long confusing words and I only remember Leo, which is the Lion.  Bunny thinks it might be on again in the future, if so she said she might take a different one from the stuffie family with her as they have never been to Armagh Planetarium.

After the show we went to take a look upstairs and I took a photograph of this model of the International Space Station.

I have seen it pass over the Burrow on clear nights but this is what it looks like :) Then we sat down in the queue and waited for the show, Beyond the Blue in the digital theatre.  The lady took my ticket, teared off the stub and gave it back to me. She laughed and told us that she hopes we enjoy the show.

Then we went flying! :) So much fun, I learnt more about the stars and the night sky and how to spot them in the night sky. It was lots of fun. Then the show was over, on the way out I saw a bear! I went over to him and shook his paw and asked him his name.  He said he was called Alfie and that he was a mascot from a local primary school, we hugged and chatted then I shook his paw again and we left. On the way out I got a postcard of The Orion Nebula for my art journal.

Then we walked a LONG way to a zippy place to get the inside zip of my travelling bag fixed. The lady behind the counter took my bag away and I cried, but Bunny said she was going to fix it and gave me a cuddle. She said the lady wouldn't be long. She wasn't! She fixed the zip in my travelling bag, so that I can now keep my business cards in it. Then Bunny told her that she had a friend who had some baby clothes that she was going to give to Bunny for me. They wouldn't fit and could she amend them to fit me.  The lady said yes that could be done, but I would have to come in for a fitting. This made her and Bunny laugh lots, so I will have to go back one day to get a fitting done. Bunny asked if I had to make an appointment, she laughed and said no that I could go straight into the fitting rooms :)

Next we went into the local theatre and we got tickets to see two shows. The Boy in the Box and Jungle Book :) I told Bunny I wanted to write reviews about them, she laughed and said I could do that.

When we left the theatre I was getting sleepy so I climbed back into my travelling bag and had a nap. Bunny took this photo of me while I was napping.

When I got back to the Burrow, I told Hilla all about my adventure today.

Star Wars bag & mini adventure

Over the past few evenings, Bunny has been sewing my travelling bag. She sewed Star Wars fabric onto it, and it GLOWS IN THE DARK!!

You may notice the strap, last year Bunny took the strap off the bag and replaced it with a HUGE belt! It's a better strap as it goes over her shoulder and we feel safer when we are in the bag.

Back of travelling back with glow in the dark Star Wars fabric

She also put a little Imperial logo onto the front of my Star Wars jeans! It glows in the dark

Today I had a mini adventure! I heard Hilla (that's what I call Bunny's mummy) come into the room to say hi to me. I asked her if she could stay and chat but she said she had to do some gardening. I asked what that was and she said planting flowers and looking after the garden. I told her I had never seen the garden and I wanted to help. She lifted me and my elephant cushion and took a stool, it was my size :) She carried me out into the front garden.  She put my elephant cushion on the stool and I sat on it and watched her gardening. She even let me use a gardening fork on the soil and I planted bulbs! :) She said not to tell Bunny because she would be cross because I had no coat or boots on but she did not have me out for long. Hilla is fun then afterwards we snuggled up on the sofa in front of the fire and watched tv.

Lucy's visit

Yesterday we had a visit from Lucy, she is a relative of Bunny's :) I got confused as to how they are related but she's from Paris, France! Her accent is just beautiful :D She came up to Bunny's room and she had her eyes closed then Bunny told her to open them and she looked up at all the stuffie family and her eyes widened!

I was sitting on Bunny's bed and she picked me up and gave me a big hug and kiss and asked who I was. I told her my name and she hugged me again before putting me back down on the bed. Bunny told her she could choose two of us to play with. She picked two girls, Apple Blossom and Katie then she and Bunny took the box of clothes and the two girls down to the living room to play.

They waved bye to the rest of us, but they were back later. Bunny got the purple cat given to her by a friend who didn't want her anymore. Bunny gave her a forever home, she had a silly name that no-one could remember so Lucy re-named her Katie :) Katie the cat. They had lots of fun playing and dressing up, lots of photographs were taken :) The costumes are ones that Bunny had bought or that we got from our cousins in America.

Katie the cat on the left and Apple Blossom the bear as Biker Buddies

Apple Blossom wearing MY Knight outfit and Katie the cat as a Pirate

Then they had a nap, but I think Apple Blossom was faking as the sun was in in her eyes.

Katie the cat wearing a Batman costume, she's flying! Apple Blossom wearing MY Darth Vader costume and with MY red lightsaber

Then Lucy wanted to stop playing because she had a poster she wanted to make. So they put the girls into ordinary clothes.  Apple Blossom is MY converse!

Bunny told me off for huffing at Apple Blossom for wearing my clothes, she said that we share our clothes and I had to say sorry for falling out with Apple Blossom over the clothes.

Lucy was making a poster about Barn Owls, I helped her! With Bunny's help we picked out photographs and printed them off. I told Lucy to use different colours in the poster. She drew the circles free-paw! She told me a lot about owls, but I have forgotten a lot of it. Baby owls are called owlets and you can see the little baby owls in one of the photographs on the poster. Don't they look beautiful :) I would like to meet an owl one day, but it might be scary!

After the evening meal, Lucy had some reading she wanted to do, so she went to Bunny's room to read. Her room is lovely and quiet :) Bunny sat and did some sewing while Lucy read her book. It was a book in French and she asked if I could understand French so that I could read it for her. I told her I am only a baby Lion. She took Raven Nevermore and carried her to the bed and cuddled her while she did her reading. Her book had a Lion on the cover! I am not sure what it was about but it had lots of words in it.

She taught me some words in French! It was very confusing and I got mixed up a lot. I remember a few words, Salut that means Hi and Trois which means Three.

She is a lovely quiet girl, I asked Bunny if she would be coming back today and she said no, this made me sad.  Though she did say that she will be back again to visit us soon.

Yesterday was like a mini adventure :) I still had an adventure but I didn't leave the burrow.
