Blankie progress

Hi everyone :)

Bunny has finished 3 pieces of the blankie! :) See photos below and let us all know what you think of it so far :) Size wise it's roughly 10 x 10 inches. The knitted side is made up of little knitted squares sewn together. The material side is sewn on one side of the knitted side.

He can fly!

Tonight we watched Superman (1978).

Mama tolded us that this was the film she watched when she was growing up :) It was very impressive, Superman flies and he stops bullets! :D

It was a bit scary in parts but it was okay. I know a lot of people will have seen this film and that a lot of grown ups will be like Mama and watched it when she was younger.

If you haven't yet seen it go and watch it :)

Superhero tag team

This morning we watched Avengers Assemble (2012).

Tag! You're it :P

After I watched Iron Man 3 I was confused because I had questions that weren't answered. Made worse by the hidden bit in the credits of Iron Man 2. Avengers Assemble answers these questions :)

I loved this film :) It was like a superhero tag team :) It had Thor in it, Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man! :D I have yet to watch the Thor, Hulk or Captain America films but I will eventually.

Aside from the usual fighting there were funny bits in the film :) I'd recommend you to watch it, especially if you didn't see it before Iron Man 3.

After we watched the film and had seen the hidden bit in the credits, which was a bit odd but funny. We watched some of the extras :) There is a "Marvel One Shot" called "Item 47" which was fun to watch and we watched the gag reel. It was very funny, especially the last one :)

Blankie!

I can't keep it a secret any longer!

Bunny  is making a blankie for us all :) She's knitting it and then on one side she's sewing material. Mama says it will look like a patchwork quilt on one side but lovely and cosy warm because of the knitting on the other side.

One of Bunny's friends sent us some baby grows but they're too big for us to wear. Instead she is cutting them up and going to sew them onto the blankie :) They're Star Wars themed!

It's being knitted in big squares then she's sewing material onto one side. Then when it's big enough she's gonna sew it all together to make one BIG blankie for us all to snuggle under :)

I'll see if she will allow me to take a photo of the big squares when they are finished and will share them with you if you want to see them :)

They were seven - And they fought like seven hundred!

Earlier we watched The Magnificent Seven (1960).

I enjoyed it, it had horseys in it. I like horseys :) It also had guns and fighting, lots of fighting. Not too much at the start but then the seven men meet up and take a contract to defend a village and lots of fighting happens.

There is more to it that just fighting though, but I won't spoil it for you. If you haven't seen it and you like westerns I'd recommend you watch it.

Even Raven Nevermore enjoyed it and she doesn't like guns that much.

Fashion! 2

Hi all :) Today is an update of our haul :) I got my Sith Lord eyes! :) Also we got a parcel today from our cousins in America :) Photos from that parcel will be shared later in this blog post :)

First up is Diamond Joe wearing his new glasses. He needs them for watching tv/films and playing video games. Mama took this photo last night when we were watching a film. This is the film blankie that we have. It covers all four of us! It's snuggly, cosy and warm and it's purple! :)

 Next up is me, hiding behind the blankie when watching a film. It was scary in places.

Next up is one of my favourite photos! Me in my Sith Lord eyes! :) The boys have taken to calling me Darth Nevermore! :D I LOVE them :) I love how they change how I look and I'm so happy you can still see the purple in my eyes :)

Next up is photographs of the goodies we got from our cousins in America. There were some items in the box for Mama and some for us :) Below are the goodies for us and there were lots! The boxie was huge! Some stuff in it were what Mama had got because we couldn't get them here, some of it is from our cousins and aunty, okay so most of it is from our cousins and aunty.

First photograph is Thomas Marshal and the boxie! It had My Little Pony stickers on it! So cute :)

Silly Lion tried to lift it.

 First out of the boxie was 3 collector covers of an American tv guide magazine, 3 covers from the Game of Thrones show.

Next is some pretty fabric, ribbon and goodies for our art journal :) Mama said she can make clothes for us from the fabric!

The bunny rabbit fabric is my favourite :)

Next is something odd in the boxie, we had no idea what it was. Then Mama explained that you put them in water and they grow! :) We're going to do it tomorrow when we get some bowls for them and we will take update photos of them.

I got a duckie! A princess duckie! :) I've called her Princess Leia and she sits on top of the Dalek that Thomas Marshal made on one of his visits to the Armagh Planetarium.

We got a Darth Vader outfit and Star Wars outfit :) We have a Darth Vader outfit but the lightsaber and cloak will come in handy and it's good for me to have a spare shirt :) They won't go to waste.

I got bracelets! Lots of pretty bracelets :) Some there were two of, so that me and Mama have matching ones! How cool is that? :)

Thomas Marshal hasn't got any pj's yet these Halloween boxers arrived :) They'll do him for his pj's :) He's a tough Lion he doesn't need a top *giggles*

Next are photos of me with my small fry bunny :) I call her Lenore (after Edgar Allan Poe's poem). Mama had a different name for her but I changed it. Clothes for her were in the boxie.

Thomas Marshal in his biker outfit :) The motorcycle chaps, shirt and bandanna, Mama had ordered from aunty, because we couldn't get those items here. He already had the biker jacket and the waistcoat that goes over it. Mama is going to create a biker patch for him and it's going to be sewn on the back of the waistcoat :) Thomas Marshal says he wants a 3 piece biker patch! Anyway he's wearing his Bane combats under the motorcycle chaps. Time for photos :)

Today we watched Alien (1979).

Mama said we should watch the film if me or Thomas Marshal are going to be cosplaying as an Alien from the film.

It was a bit scary in places but we hid under the blankie during those bits. It was also funny in some places, well we thought it was funny.

I did enjoy the film and if you are a grown-up who reads this blog, I'd recommend you watch it :)

No photos for this review, because a lot of little people read this blog and I don't want to scare them.

Arrr! Me matey

Last night we watched "Blackbeard: The Real Pirate of the Caribbean" (2005). This film starred James Purefoy which meant that Mama and Raven Nevermore had love heart eyes.

It is about the legend that is Blackbeard who was a pirate a long time ago.

It had pistols, swords and fighting :) LOTS of fighting :) It looked like it would have been lots of fun to be a pirate

This was the first pirate film that we've seen and it is one that we all enjoyed :)

Cosplay chat 2

Mama is going to be REALLY busy! *giggles*

She will be making the following Sith Lord costumes for us (the cosplay trio):

Darth Malgus (Thomas Marshal)

Savage Opress (Thomas Marshal)
Female Sith Lord (for ME!). The female Sith Lord will be one of my own design.

She will also be making Alien and Predator costumes (for the boys), Harley Quinn (for me), Iron Man (Diamond Joe). Finally (for now) Bane mask mark II (Thomas Marshal).

She's already made a start on the Darth Maul costume earlier tonight. If anyone is interested we will share progress photos with you when they are ready to share.

Hi! *waves* Raven Nevermore here again and doing another fashion update :)

 During the photo shoot, the boys were mucking about! Diamond Joe was ruffling Thomas Marshal's mane.

We got a jumper to share but because Thomas Marshal had one to model and I had one to model. Diamond Joe modelled this one.

Cosplay news from me! We watched Star Wars yesterday (we watch it a lot) and I want to cosplay a Sith Lord! :) The boys said I couldn't but Mama said of course I can because they are female Sith Lords :) So I've tolded Diamond Joe to research a female Sith Lord costume for me :) I need Sith Lord eyes but Mama said that I can look at some contact lenses and then she will get them for me and I'll have my own Sith Lord eyes.

I'm trying to convince Mama to wear a Sith Lord costume too so when I go cosplaying as a Sith Lord we match! :) She's still thinking it over. She already has a full length black hooded cloak, that she doesn't wear much. I'm very excited about cosplaying a Sith Lord, it'll be so much fun :)
