Extreme Spooks

I was going to be a glow in the dark scary skeleton but it had started to rain before we left so I changed into a Biker :)

When we first went in we were guided into a room, where we got a drink and a biscuit :)

An illusionist from the Victorian age was there! He showed us all some tricks which were funny :)  Then we went back into the hallway.  When we went outside we had a guide, who was a Druid! He said we were tricked and we were trapped in the underworld.  He said we could survive if we followed him.  We saw a ghost, who screamed at us, and then we saw another one.  I wasn't sure if there was just two ghosts or more! During the walk outside ghosts and monsters jumped out at us and touched us. I screamed and laughed lots, so did Bunny! A few times she held onto me tightly, but don't tell her I said that.  We had a lot of fun.

Little Spooks

Today we went to the Navan Centre for their Halloween event, called Little Spooks. Here I am outside beside one of the markers before going into the centre.

Posing with decorations inside

We met little miss riding hood! She was on her way to her Granny's and then we met the big bad wolf! He was funny. We all had to sing "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf" :)

Then we met a scaredy-cat scarecrow and we had to teach her not to be scared anymore! She was scared of me at first.

Then on the way back inside I climbed a tree

Then we met Dr Frankenstein! He was very funny and not scary at all.

Then we saw a shadow puppet show and after wards we got to make our own shadow puppet! I chose the bat because it reminded me of batman.  I carefully drew around the template in blue chalk. Bunny had to rub the chalk off my paws!

Bunny then cut it out for me, because I am too young to use scissors.

Many thanks to the lovely man who took this picture of me holding the shadow puppet that I made. I look like a bat.

Armagh Gaol

This evening was the third of my Halloween adventures :) We went to the Armagh Gaol, so I dressed up as Batlion! :) Just in case The Joker appeared. My cape is crushed velvet!

Doing a Batlion pose against the moon and Gaol

Selfie in front of the Gaol

This was taken in the room while we waited for our guide. This is me beside the inside front door of the Gaol. The hole is the "peephole" of the front door.

The guide asked Bunny what I was about, I told him that I was Batlion, in case The Joker appeared.  He laughed and then said that he felt safe with me there. He told us all about the Gaol, it was built in the 1800's and was a working Gaol up until as recent as 1986.  It was mostly in darkness with only the light from the guide's torch.  This photograph was taken outside, where there was light.  In the background was some of the buildings but as you see it came out black.  A lot of people said that the same thing happened to them, or the photograph was white.

Inside part of the Goal, these were taken with flash on but it's still very dark and scary!

The shadow is of someone taking a photograph and NOT a ghostie.  It was very scary because it was in darkness a lot of the time and I don't like the dark.  Bunny held onto me very tightly and although my hearts were beating very fast, I knew I was safe.  I was happy when we went outside again.

There is a tunnel that goes from the Gaol to the courthouse but it's closed off and unsafe to go into.  Even though it was scary I did enjoy it.

Planetscarium

Tonight I was at the Armagh Planetarium or Arrrrrmagh Planetscarium!! I was dressed up as a Werelion.  I had lots of fun.

I got to look at the moon through a telescope!

Decorations inside.

Many thanks to the kind lady who gave Bunny her spare ticket to see the show :) It was lots of fun though the scary pumpkin before the show started scared me so much I screamed!  After the show I stopped by the meteorite.

Back outside, two children who were there had lanterns. One of them held me to make sure I wouldn't fall.  Here I am posing with their lanterns and her balloon.

Pumpkins & Potions

Today I visited The Argory for a Halloween adventure! I dressed up as a Werelion :)

Bunny played a game. The aim was to throw a hoop around a witch's hat, she missed! The kind lady who was in charge of the game gave me a packet of sweets :)

I wasn't very good at this game, lots of scary buzzing!

The kind lady who had an apple stall, let me stand in among them. I liked the look of the red apple in front of me.

We got a ticket for a Halloween Trail. While we waited, I played hide and seek in the garden.

The troll of The Argory.  She was our guide for the Halloween Trail and she said I looked like her son!

I got to pick a pumpkin seed for the potion!

We visited a graveyard on the trail.

Then we met a Goblin, he told us we had to sing and dance and then he left us and told us where to go to see the witch.

The witch gave me a lollipop! She said I was a good Werelion and I deserved a treat.

The lollipop has an eye on it! :) I thanked the witch for the treat :)

I tucked the lollipop into my costume so that it wouldn't get lost.  The witch howled after this photo was taken :) I howled back and she laughed :)

They had pumpkins! Lots and lots of pumpkins. But they're too big for me :(  Bunny did tell me that she got me a little pumpkin for me :) We are going to carve it on Halloween! It will be exciting :)

Then we stopped for lunch and I got a white chocolate covered apple :)

Bunny put my lollipop into my bag for safe keeping and we passed a man selling crêpes.  I asked him for a banana and nutella one please.  He said I was so cute and adorable, it was really yummy! I couldn't eat it all , but Bunny helped me eat it.

Then we went to hear the storyteller! He told two stories that were a bit scary but they were also funny :)
