Yesterday's adventure to the seaside!

Yesterday I went on a BIG adventure! :) Bunny took me to the seaside! :) We went back to Newcastle Co. Down. We got on a big coach, we met up with the coach in Armagh, shortly after 10am and I crawled out of my bag and sat looking out of the window. Lady next to Bunny asked who I was, I said "Hi, I'm Thomas Marshal".  She said how lovely I am and then showed the ladies in front, who then showed them in front of them! I went around the whole bus! I kept jumping up so Bunny could see I was okay. Then I was given back to Bunny, I gave her a big hug :) I wasn't scared but I don't like being out of sight of Bunny.

The coach went along the Mourne Coastal Route, it takes longer but it is pretty! I got to see lovely houses and the seaside! People who were walking or running waved at me :) We arrived in Newcastle around midday. When we got off the coach a lady said she had to take a picture of us, I wanted to hide but she wouldn't let me, so I smiled. Bunny said it might be in one of the local papers, she said she'll keep an eye out for the photograph and cut out the photo for my art journal :)

First stop was the toilets because I had to go potty REALLY badly! Then outside of Newcastle Centre was this war memorial it was a Lion so I took a photograph of it.

Then we went to a café I got some water and Bunny got a coffee. She didn't get finishing her coffee because I was wanting to go to the Amusement Arcade. It was loads of fun! It was called Kent Amusements.  I went on rides and played games :) My favourite one was the two below in the videos and also I got to go on the merry-go-round but because there were other children on it Bunny just took a photo of me on it. I also went on tea cups but I didn't like it very much.

This one was my first amusement arcade ride I loved it :) It was fun.

This was my second amusement arcade ride, a spaceship! :) It was a bit scary at times because I couldn't see Bunny all the time but it was still fun :)

On the way to get my pocket money changed into change for the games I saw a security guard I waved at him and he nodded his head back at me :) He was really big, not as big as Bane but still big.  I played whack-a-snake, it was fun hitting the snakes on the head :) Then I played a game shooting balls into a hoop, it was hard to do but it was still fun :) I had to pull a monkey's finger! That was a strange game but it was fun too. Then I spent £2 in 2ps playing a sliding coin game. It was fun to watch the 2ps fall off the ledge. After an hour in the amusement arcade Bunny said it was time to go. So I went to the ticket eating machine and I had won 164 tickets! I then had to press a button that printed out a receipt and I went to the prize claim area and stood for ages looking at all the prizes. Then I saw what I wanted, I asked Bunny if I had enough and I did! I asked the man for a red skull bracelet and I still had some prize tickets left so I got some random sweets. Bunny took a photo when we got back to her burrow, so you'll see it further down in this post.

Next we went to a sweet shop and I got a red slushie, I told the lady I never had a slushie before and she smiled and gave me a red straw too. We sat down on a bench near the seaside and I drank/ate my red slushie. My head started to hurt LOTS! Bunny laughed and said I had brain freeze, it happens when you eat something really cold too fast. She kept laughing and said it was too cute that I got brain freeze. It wasn't funny! Then I gave her some of my slushie and she got brain freeze too! I laughed at her :) It was fun.

Next we went for a walk and stopped outside the Newcastle Centre and there was a man doing tricks with footballs. I took a short video of him :) He was funny and silly! He made me laugh.

I waked past him and waved and he bowed at me! <giggles>

Next we went into a Leathercraft shop I wanted a leather choker with my name on it. The lovely lady measured a piece of leather around my neck and told me to come back in 15 minutes. I told her my name and we went for a smoothie and then went back. We had to wait a few minutes but it was soon finished! :) The lady put it around my neck and said I looked very cool :) I smiled and thanked her. I still had some pocket money left so I got a bracelet and necklace :) Then we went into another store and I got some iron-on patches for my bag :) Bunny said she'll iron them onto my bag for me, because irons are very hot and it would be too dangerous for me to do it.

Next we went into a bead shop :) It was very cool seeing all those beads. Bunny said I could choose some beads and she'll make a necklace or bracelet for me with them. I hope she makes both :) Then we went into a sweetie shop and I got a postcard of Newcastle for my art journal and some goodies for Sakura Bunny who is my cousin in America. We both were starting to get hungry so we went into a café. I had some toasted wheaten bread with butter and Bunny got me a bottle of coke, a glass bottle! I'd never seen a glass bottle of coke before.

Then we went for a walk and I saw swans! :)

We met some ladies that were on the coach and chatted to them before walking back to where we were meeting the coach again. We got on the coach in time, because then it started to rain! I crawled into my bag for a nap, I rested my head on my elephant cushion and used my coat as a blankie :)

Bunny woke me up just as we were about to leave the Whistledown Hotel in Warrenpoint because they had sofa and a throne that was luxury! :) Below are photos of me on the sofa and the throne! :)

Then it was time to get back on the coach and go back to Armagh. I crawled into my bag for another nap, I was very sleepy!

When we got back to Bunny's burrow she took photos of me showing off my new leather choker and of the haul I got today :) Below is a photo of me showing my new leather choker with my name on it :)

Next photo is of my haul I got at the amusement arcade :) and of the necklace and bracelet I got at the leathercraft shop.

The beads I got and the postcard of Newcastle for my art journal.

The iron-on patches I got for my bag :)

There was a raffle in the Whistledown Hotel and an extra mint at the table :) Bunny took home the raffle tickets and the mint for me :) Bunny didn't win anything at the raffle, but she thought that the tickets would look good in my art journal. I ate the mint when we got back to her burrow, it was lovely :) I kept the wrapper and I'm going to put the raffle tickets and the mint wrapper into my art journal :)

In Newcastle I met a little girl who gave me a seashell! :) I'm going to put it into my art journal :)

I wanted some of my new jewellery on so I took off one of my bracelets and Bunny helped put on my red skull bracelet and the tattoo style bracelet :) I think they look great :)

Bunny said we gave out 35 business cards yesterday! That is a LOT of business cards :) I really had a brilliant time yesterday.

Distance Travelled (from Armagh): 101 miles
