Lucy's visit

Yesterday we had a visit from Lucy, she is a relative of Bunny's :) I got confused as to how they are related but she's from Paris, France! Her accent is just beautiful :D She came up to Bunny's room and she had her eyes closed then Bunny told her to open them and she looked up at all the stuffie family and her eyes widened!

I was sitting on Bunny's bed and she picked me up and gave me a big hug and kiss and asked who I was. I told her my name and she hugged me again before putting me back down on the bed. Bunny told her she could choose two of us to play with. She picked two girls, Apple Blossom and Katie then she and Bunny took the box of clothes and the two girls down to the living room to play.

They waved bye to the rest of us, but they were back later. Bunny got the purple cat given to her by a friend who didn't want her anymore. Bunny gave her a forever home, she had a silly name that no-one could remember so Lucy re-named her Katie :) Katie the cat. They had lots of fun playing and dressing up, lots of photographs were taken :) The costumes are ones that Bunny had bought or that we got from our cousins in America.

Then they had a nap, but I think Apple Blossom was faking as the sun was in in her eyes.

Then Lucy wanted to stop playing because she had a poster she wanted to make. So they put the girls into ordinary clothes.  Apple Blossom is MY converse!

Bunny told me off for huffing at Apple Blossom for wearing my clothes, she said that we share our clothes and I had to say sorry for falling out with Apple Blossom over the clothes.

Lucy was making a poster about Barn Owls, I helped her! With Bunny's help we picked out photographs and printed them off. I told Lucy to use different colours in the poster. She drew the circles free-paw! She told me a lot about owls, but I have forgotten a lot of it. Baby owls are called owlets and you can see the little baby owls in one of the photographs on the poster. Don't they look beautiful :) I would like to meet an owl one day, but it might be scary!

After the evening meal, Lucy had some reading she wanted to do, so she went to Bunny's room to read. Her room is lovely and quiet :) Bunny sat and did some sewing while Lucy read her book. It was a book in French and she asked if I could understand French so that I could read it for her. I told her I am only a baby Lion. She took Raven Nevermore and carried her to the bed and cuddled her while she did her reading. Her book had a Lion on the cover! I am not sure what it was about but it had lots of words in it. 

She taught me some words in French! It was very confusing and I got mixed up a lot. I remember a few words, Salut that means Hi and Trois which means Three. 

She is a lovely quiet girl, I asked Bunny if she would be coming back today and she said no, this made me sad.  Though she did say that she will be back again to visit us soon. 

Yesterday was like a mini adventure :) I still had an adventure but I didn't leave the burrow.
