Armagh Planetarium

This morning we went back to the Armagh Planetarium! Bunny said we were going to make a Solargraph Pinhole Camera. We arrived early but the nice man in reception gave us our ticket because we had pre booked and he liked my Star Wars t-shirt! :) All the other staff we had seen before, all smiled and waved and said hello :)

We had some time to spend before the workshop started so we had another look around the Planetarium and took some more photographs :)

The first photograph below is of me looking up at one of the interactive stations that are in the Planetarium.

Next I sat on the map of Northern Ireland :)

Then I went into the Mars Room :) It was fun I got to wear 3D glasses! Though I don't think they suit me.

Then I played jumping about on the floor! I had to jump on things that appeared on the screen :) It's hard to see in the photo but there were robots on the screen that I had to jump on to make them disappear. It changes every few minutes to something else.
Then we climbed the stairs, I wanted a photo taken of me underneath all the badges and a rocket! I had to balance on the railing, it was very difficult but it was worth it to get this photo :)

Then we put a bit further along and I looked over the railing, I was careful! I looked at the map of Northern Ireland from above :) I saw where I was sitting earlier! :)

Then it was time to do the workshop :) So we went into the hall and made a pinhole camera! It was very exciting :)

Bunny took a photo of me and the pinhole camera :)

Attached to it are cable ties held together with an elastic band so they wouldn't get lost. It has to be placed in a southerly direction. Bunny said the perfect spot would be on the drainpipe next to her bedroom :) We will get it attached onto it as soon as possible, then we forget about it for 5 - 6 months. I will share the pic of what we find when we open it up when the time is up.

Next photograph is of me with a gift I got from the space gift shop! :)  It's a Fridge Rover! It is a wind toy for the fridge :)

Below is a short video that I took of the Fridge Rover in action :)
