the SEASIDE!!

Today we visited the SEASIDE!! I loved it!! :) When we arrived at Newcastle we got some coffee (expect for me, 'cause I'm not allowed any) then Bunny's mama and Bunny and me parted ways. We had LOTS of fun! :) First thing was I went beach combing! I sat on the beach, the sand was so soft! :) Below are pics of me on the beach with two shells I found beach combing :) I put them safely into my bag before we headed towards the sea.

On the way to the sea we came across a girl who was knocking down sandcastles, she looked at me and waved, I waved back. I told her it was the first time I've been to the seaside and have never seen a sandcastle. I asked her if she would mind keeping one for me, so Bunny could take a pic of it. She nodded and said it was okay. I grinned so much and thanked her :) She smiled back, I sat down and Bunny took the photo. Then we headed towards the sea.

On the way to the sea I noticed a crab in a rock pool, Bunny made sure I didn't fall because the stones were slippery and I didn't want to have a bath when we got back. These rock pools were left after the tide had gone out.

I wanted to lie on the beach! Bunny said it was too wet, but I stomped saying I wanted to lie on the beach, so Bunny put my bag down on the beach and I lay on it :)

We then looked back to shore from where the above photo was taken, all that would be under water when tide comes in. That IS a  lot of water! In background you can see the Mourne Mountains.

Then we walked along the promenade I crossed a bridge and sat on the top of it and looked out towards the sea.

Then we came across rocks that are on the beach and on the promenade. I wanted to walk on them so Bunny said okay but I had to hold her paw. Bunny managed to take a pic of me walking along these big rocks! Then I started to get tired so Bunny carried me and we saw a group of children they waved at me! :) I waved back, some said "Hello Mr Lion" and waved. I waved back and said hello.

Then we saw this sculpture. The board next to it says that it is representation of the Mourne Mountains and the highest point of it is a straight line to the highest point of the mountain behind it. (Or something like that).

Then I sat on some rocks and looked out towards the sea. It was calm and peaceful :)

Then we saw Newcastle Firemen and they had Fireman Sam with them! Bunny got a photo of me and Fireman Sam :) Fireman Sam said I was cute Lion! The other Firemen said I was cute and very trendy too! :)

Then we saw a biker about to get onto his bike. I asked him nicely if I could sit on the bike and let Bunny take a photo. He said "Yeah, sure, as long as I don't have to be in it". So Bunny stepped back to take the photo and I started to fall off the bike! The nice biker man helped me up and made sure I didn't fall off. We thanked him and he laughed and said it was no problem :) He loved my jewellery and the red in my mane! :)

Then we got some lunch and walked some more but I was very sleepy so I crawled into my bag for a nap. Next thing I know we're back at Bunny's Burrow! Bunny got me beaded bracelet with shells on it :) You all know red is my favourite colour! :) Bunny put it on for me and secured it :) Doesn't it look cool?

Bunny got me a stick of rock! So here's me nomnomnoming on the lovely sticky goodness of seaside stick of rock :)
So ends today's adventure! :) I had lots of fun. In case you're wondering about my bag that you saw in an earlier photo. That is a bag that Bunny got for me and I travel in it :) Sometimes I get tired and I can crawl into the bag and either sit in it with my head and paws outside of bag or curl up in it for a nap. It's very comfy and safe :)

Distance Travelled today (from Armagh): 80 miles
